Two Injured In Broad-Daylight Bridgeport Shooting

Two people received non-life threatening injuries after being shot in Bridgeport.

The shooting took place around 1:08 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 7, near the area of the 700th block of Maplewood Avenue, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.

One person was shot in the arm, and the other in the leg, Jones said.

Police are on the scene investigating
